Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Katherine Bradford achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in 6 - in September this year. In the Editions & Works on Paper: Online Auction auction, the work Swimmers in Fog sold for USD 3,302.00 (€ 3,119.80) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Katherine Bradford achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Swimmer, 4 Lifeguards in November this year with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 138,613.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Katherine Bradford erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 6 - einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper: Online Auction wurde die Arbeit Swimmers in Fog für USD 3.302,00 (€ 3.119,80) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Katherine Bradford erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Swimmer, 4 Lifeguards im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 138.613,86).
