Auction result well in line with expectations
The work TXC57 by Kasper Sonne was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,407.09) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kasper Sonne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Borderline (New Territory) No. 44, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,125.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit TXC57 von Kasper Sonne wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.407,09) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Kasper Sonne mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Borderline (New Territory) No. 44 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.125,68) versteigert wurde.
