Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Borderline (New Territory) No. 46 by Kasper Sonne was auctioned at Phillips in Online Auction in May 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,942.69). Admittedly, works by Kasper Sonne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Borderline (New Territory) No. 44 in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,125.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Borderline (New Territory) No. 46 von Kasper Sonne im Mai 2020 bei Phillips in Online Auction versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 1.750,00 (€ 1.942,69) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kasper Sonne auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Borderline (New Territory) No. 44 im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.125,68).
