In July last year Phillips in an online auction held the auction Heatwave: Online Auction, which included the work TXC72 by Kasper Sonne. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,520.00 (€ 3,009.33), 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Kasper Sonne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Borderline (New Territory) No. 44 in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,125.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit TXC72 von Kasper Sonne zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.520,00 (€ 3.009,33) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kasper Sonne auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Borderline (New Territory) No. 44 im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.125,68).
