Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Quiet Landscape by Karl Weschke was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in March 2019. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,750.00 (€ 6,673.85) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Karl Weschke have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2012 the work Seated Figure was auctioned for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,941.23).
