Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Karin Parrow could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work "At the small bridge" (Vid lilla bron) changed hands for SEK 32,000.00 (€ 3,031.85) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karin Parrow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Strandservering, Marstrand", which sold at auction in April 2016 for SEK 100,000.00 (€ 10,881.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Karin Parrow konnte im November 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte die Arbeit "At the small bridge" (Vid lilla bron) für SEK 32.000,00 (€ 3.031,85) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Karin Parrow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Strandservering, Marstrand" beobachtet, die im April 2016 für SEK 100.000,00 (€ 10.881,92) versteigert wurde.
