Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Ryttare" (Rider) by Karin Parrow was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 16,000.00 (€ 1,860.78). Admittedly, works by Karin Parrow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Strandservering, Marstrand" in April 2016 with an auction result of SEK 100,000.00 (€ 10,881.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Ryttare" (Rider) von Karin Parrow im Oktober 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 16.000,00 (€ 1.860,78) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karin Parrow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Strandservering, Marstrand" im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 100.000,00 (€ 10.881,92).
