Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Karin Parrow could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm auction, the work View from Malta changed hands for SEK 30,000.00 (€ 3,488.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 35,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karin Parrow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Strandservering, Marstrand", which sold at auction in April 2016 for SEK 100,000.00 (€ 10,881.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Karin Parrow konnte im Oktober 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm wechselte die Arbeit View from Malta für SEK 30.000,00 (€ 3.488,96) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 35.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Karin Parrow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Strandservering, Marstrand" beobachtet, die im April 2016 für SEK 100.000,00 (€ 10.881,92) versteigert wurde.
