Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Lady in Kitchen) by Kamrul Hasan was sold in the South Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in March 2011. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,125.00 (€ 1,498.27). Admittedly, works by Kamrul Hasan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Mother and Child with Attendants) in September 2011 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,153.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Lady in Kitchen) von Kamrul Hasan wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion South Asian Modern & Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.125,00 (€ 1.498,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kamrul Hasan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Mother and Child with Attendants) im September 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.153,25).
