Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Caress by Justin Adian was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March 2015. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,965.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Justin Adian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Non-Site Healing, which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 42,209.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Caress von Justin Adian kam im März 2015 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.965,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Justin Adian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Non-Site Healing beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 52.500,00 (€ 42.209,36) versteigert wurde.
