Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2004 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Theatre gown (greens) by Julie Roberts. The price achieved of GBP 2,390.00 (€ 3,439.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julie Roberts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crime of Passion in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 79,000.00 (€ 53,785.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Theatre gown (greens) von Julie Roberts zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.390,00 (€ 3.439,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julie Roberts erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Crime of Passion im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 79.000,00 (€ 53.785,40).
