Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work Skeletons in the Closet: the God Parents by Julie Roberts for USD 204.80 (€ 185.84). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julie Roberts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crime of Passion in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 79,000.00 (€ 53,785.40).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Skeletons in the Closet: the God Parents von Julie Roberts für USD 204,80 (€ 185,84) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julie Roberts erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Crime of Passion im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 79.000,00 (€ 53.785,40).
