In the American Art auction, the work A Field Of Blue Bonnets At Alamo Heights sold for USD 137,500.00 (€ 123,329.45) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Julian Onderdonk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bluebonnets at Dawn, North of San Antonio, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 403,200.00 (€ 375,733.86).

Für andere Arbeiten von Julian Onderdonk mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bluebonnets at Dawn, North of San Antonio beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 403.200,00 (€ 375.733,86) versteigert wurde.
