lithograph and screenprint, 1992, on wove paper, signed and dated in pencil, numbered 26/50 (there were also 12 artist's proofs), with the ULAE blindstamp, with full margins, in excellent condition; and two Untited--- two lithographs, 1990-1, both on laid paper, both signed and dated in pencil, numbered 35/58 and 24/39 (there were also 16 and 9 artist's proofs respectively), both with the ULAE blindstamp, with full sheets, both in excellent condition; and Untitled---lithograph with chine collé, 1991, on T. H. Saunders and Kurotai Mitsumata Hosho, signed and dated in pencil, numbered 41/57 (there were also 11 artist's proofs), with the ULAE blindstamp, with full margins, in excellent condition (4)

Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Access by Julian Lethbridge was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2000, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 1,997.50 (€ 2,197.71). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julian Lethbridge achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 28,409.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Access von Julian Lethbridge im April 2000 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 1.997,50 (€ 2.197,71) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julian Lethbridge erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 28.409,09).
