Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2015 Christies in New York held the auction First Open/ NYC, which included this untitled work by Julian Lethbridge. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,947.04). Admittedly, works by Julian Lethbridge have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 28,409.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open/ NYC durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Julian Lethbridge zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.947,04) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julian Lethbridge auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 28.409,09).
