Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2008 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Julian Lethbridge for USD 625.00 (€ 421.13). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julian Lethbridge achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 28,409.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2008 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Julian Lethbridge für USD 625,00 (€ 421,13) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julian Lethbridge erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 28.409,09).
