Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still life of flowers in a green vase by Jules Eugène Pages was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in November 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 828.75 (€ 925.16) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules Eugène Pages achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sur le zinc in October 2016 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 51,313.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still life of flowers in a green vase von Jules Eugène Pages wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 828,75 (€ 925,16) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jules Eugène Pages erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sur le zinc im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 51.313,63).
