Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work Versailles by Jules Eugène Pages for USD 7,680.00 (€ 7,085.52). This price was achieved in the auction California Art at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jules Eugène Pages have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sur le zinc in October 2016 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 51,313.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Versailles von Jules Eugène Pages für USD 7.680,00 (€ 7.085,52) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jules Eugène Pages auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sur le zinc im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 51.313,63).
