Sold at the upper estimate price
In September 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Day Sale, which included the work Untitled (Plane Perspective) by Jules de Balincourt. The auction ended at the price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,690.26), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules de Balincourt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work US World Studies II in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 277,250.00 (€ 337,161.81).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im September 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Plane Perspective) von Jules de Balincourt zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.690,26) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jules de Balincourt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit US World Studies II im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 277.250,00 (€ 337.161,81).
