However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Juan Cárdenas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Night and Day, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,383.48).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.662,76) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Für andere Arbeiten von Juan Cárdenas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Night and Day beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.383,48) versteigert wurde.
