Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape by Joseph Zaritsky for USD 4,688.00 (€ 3,368.06). This price was achieved in the auction Israeli and International Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Zaritsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Painting - Flowers in October 2003 with an auction result of USD 86,040.00 (€ 74,114.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape von Joseph Zaritsky für USD 4.688,00 (€ 3.368,06) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Israeli and International Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Zaritsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Painting - Flowers im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.040,00 (€ 74.114,91).
