The work On May 14 1948 near Acre where Israeli military men were training, circa 1970 by Joseph Yoakum was sold in the Outsider and Vernacular Art auction at Christies in New York in January 2019. The auction ended at the price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,730.57), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joseph Yoakum - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mt Nev De Samaja of Las Andes Mtn Range Near La Paz Bolovia South America, 1964, which sold at auction in February last year for USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,046.33).

Die Arbeit On May 14 1948 near Acre where Israeli military men were training, circa 1970 von Joseph Yoakum wurde im Januar 2019 in der Auktion Outsider and Vernacular Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.730,57) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00.
