It achieved a price of USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,868.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Joseph Yoakum; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mt Nev De Samaja of Las Andes Mtn Range Near La Paz Bolovia South America, 1964 sold at auction in February last year with the realized price of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,046.33).
