Admittedly, works by Joseph Yoakum have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mt Nev De Samaja of Las Andes Mtn Range Near La Paz Bolovia South America, 1964 in February last year with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,046.33).

Die Arbeit Border Range Between Austria & Italian Continents, The Brenner Pass von Joseph Yoakum kam im Januar 2003 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.824,00 (€ 3.560,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joseph Yoakum auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mt Nev De Samaja of Las Andes Mtn Range Near La Paz Bolovia South America, 1964 im Februar letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.046,33).
