Sold at the lower estimate price
In September 2010 Christies in London held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Chepstow by Joseph Webb. The result of GBP 500.00 (€ 578.30) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Joseph Webb have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Doors Of The Heart in February 2019 with an auction result of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,770.52).
