However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joseph Thors - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figures in an extensive wooded landscape, which sold at auction in May 2002 for GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,120.36).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.620,78) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Joseph Thors mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figures in an extensive wooded landscape beobachtet, die im Mai 2002 für GBP 6.462,50 (€ 10.120,36) versteigert wurde.
