Admittedly, works by Joseph Thors have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figures in an extensive wooded landscape in May 2002 with an auction result of GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,120.36).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.262,99) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joseph Thors auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figures in an extensive wooded landscape im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.462,50 (€ 10.120,36).
