Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Joseph Marioni could be acquired at Bonhams in London in March last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Yellow Painting changed hands for GBP 14,000.00 (€ 16,598.58) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joseph Marioni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Yellow Painting". in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 77,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joseph Marioni konnte im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Yellow Painting für GBP 14.000,00 (€ 16.598,58) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joseph Marioni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Yellow Painting". im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 77.400,00.
