Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Christies in Milan held the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale, which included the work Red Painting by Joseph Marioni. The price achieved of EUR 12,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joseph Marioni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Yellow Painting". in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 77,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red Painting von Joseph Marioni zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joseph Marioni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Yellow Painting". im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 77.400,00.
