In the American Art auction, the work Lorenzo Martinez (Ex-Governor Of Taos) sold for USD 62,500.00 (€ 51,254.72) - well above the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Henry Sharp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Medicine Teepee in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,497,000.00 (€ 962,082.26).
