Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The River At Dawn by Joseph Francis Plaskett was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in March 2007. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,766.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Joseph Francis Plaskett have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Apples And Oranges in May 2011 with an auction result of CAD 11,400.00 (€ 8,185.23).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.766,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
