In November 2012 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Rasperries And Currants by Joseph Francis Plaskett. The result of CAD 6,000.00 (€ 4,643.66) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of CAD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Other works by Joseph Francis Plaskett have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2011 the work Still Life With Apples And Oranges was auctioned for CAD 11,400.00 (€ 8,185.23).
