Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Joseph Floch could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Paintings auction, the work Studio with Stairway changed hands for USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,272.04) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Floch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frau im roten Kleid in July 2021 with an auction result of EUR 50,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joseph Floch konnte im September 2009 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion American Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Studio with Stairway für USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.272,04) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Floch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frau im roten Kleid im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.000,00.
