Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Self Portrait by Joseph Floch for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,033.12). This price was achieved in the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Floch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frau im roten Kleid in July 2021 with an auction result of EUR 50,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Self Portrait von Joseph Floch für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.033,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Floch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frau im roten Kleid im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.000,00.
