Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Seated man in an interior by Joseph Floch. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of USD 625.00 (€ 421.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Floch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frau im roten Kleid in July 2021 with an auction result of EUR 50,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seated man in an interior von Joseph Floch zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 625,00 (€ 421,70) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Floch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frau im roten Kleid im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.000,00.
