Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,457.38). Admittedly, works by Joseph Floch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Frau im roten Kleid in July 2021 with an auction result of EUR 50,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A View Of The Sea von Joseph Floch wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian and Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 11.457,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joseph Floch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Frau im roten Kleid im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.000,00.
