(an artist's proof, the edition was 125), with Untitled (Landscape with Figure): photogravure in colors, on Arches White Cover paper, 1972, with the artist's estate stamped-signature, annotated 'AP' (an artist's proof, the edition was 125), each published by Brooke Alexander Editions, New York, with full margins, in generally good condition

Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Prints for Phoenix House: Two Prints by Joseph Cornell for USD 630.00 (€ 579.47). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Edition: New York: Featuring the Collection of Kenwal Steel in Support of GLAAD at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Cornell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Medici Slot Machine in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 7,781,000.00 (€ 5,704,545.45).
