A top price for Jose Legaspi
In October 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included this untitled work by Jose Legaspi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 250,000.00 (€ 25,738.23), 67% above the upper estimate. This high result makes the work without title the most expensive artwork by Jose Legaspi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jose Legaspi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 25.738,23) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht das Werk ohne Titel zum teuersten Kunstwerk von Jose Legaspi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
