This artwork by Jose Legaspi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2013. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work without title sold for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 21,073.30) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jose Legaspi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 25,738.23).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jose Legaspi erzielte im Mai 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 21.073,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jose Legaspi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 25.738,23).
