Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jose Legaspi was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,446.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Jose Legaspi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2014 the work without title was auctioned for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 25,738.23).
