Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction The Pioneers, which included the work TIVOLI, COPENHAGEN by José Joya. The price achieved of HKD 3,420,000.00 (€ 416,749.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000,000.00 – 4,000,000.00. Other works by José Joya have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2017 the work Elysium was auctioned for HKD 5,100,000.00 (€ 582,351.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion The Pioneers durch, in der auch die Arbeit TIVOLI, COPENHAGEN von José Joya zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.420.000,00 (€ 416.749,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000.000,00 – 4.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von José Joya konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2017 die Arbeit Elysium für HKD 5.100.000,00 (€ 582.351,37) versteigert.
