Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Ravolera by José Gabriel Fernández for USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,456.75). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by José Gabriel Fernández - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Capas De Torero (Ravolera), 2002, which sold at auction in September 2018 for USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,087.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ravolera von José Gabriel Fernández für USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.456,75) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von José Gabriel Fernández mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Capas De Torero (Ravolera), 2002 beobachtet, die im September 2018 für USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.087,08) versteigert wurde.
