This work without title by Jose Dávila was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2013. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,699.41) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jose Dávila have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Buildings You Must See Before You Die in April last year with an auction result of USD 52,920.00 (€ 50,223.02).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jose Dávila wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.699,41) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jose Dávila auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Buildings You Must See Before You Die im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.920,00 (€ 50.223,02).
