Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jose Dávila was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2014. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 30,149.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Jose Dávila have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April last year the work Buildings You Must See Before You Die was auctioned for USD 52,920.00 (€ 50,223.02).
