Sold at the upper estimate price
In November 2013 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary, Stockholm, which included the work "Shadows, reflections and all that sort of thing #30", 2004 by Jorma Puranen. The auction ended at the price of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 4,489.20), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 35,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jorma Puranen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Icy Prospects (No. 17) in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 13,200.00 (€ 19,588.14).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im November 2013 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Shadows, reflections and all that sort of thing #30", 2004 von Jorma Puranen zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 4.489,20) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 35.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jorma Puranen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Icy Prospects (No. 17) im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.200,00 (€ 19.588,14).
