Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bandiere by Jorge Eielson was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2015. It achieved a price of USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,137.66), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jorge Eielson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Quipus 32 D-7, which sold at auction in May 2018 for USD 87,500.00 (€ 74,978.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bandiere von Jorge Eielson kam im November 2015 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 33.137,66) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Jorge Eielson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Quipus 32 D-7 beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für USD 87.500,00 (€ 74.978,58) versteigert wurde.
