A top price for Jörg Sasse - as previously expected
The work 5502 by Jörg Sasse was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2002. The price achieved of USD 13,145.00 (€ 13,235.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, 5502 is the most expensive artwork by Jörg Sasse that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit 5502 von Jörg Sasse kam im November 2002 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.145,00 (€ 13.235,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist 5502 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jörg Sasse, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
