Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included this untitled work by Jordan Wolfson. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,960.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jordan Wolfson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,016,000.00 (€ 218,989.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jordan Wolfson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.960,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jordan Wolfson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.016.000,00 (€ 218.989,87).
