Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Synthetische Constructie F 11 by Joost Baljeu was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2014. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joost Baljeu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Synth. Constr. Wxi_4C in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 137,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Synthetische Constructie F 11 von Joost Baljeu wurde im Dezember 2014 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joost Baljeu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Synth. Constr. Wxi_4C im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 137.500,00.
