Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Synthesist Construction A IV - 1969 by Joost Baljeu was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joost Baljeu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Synth. Constr. Wxi_4C in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 137,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Synthesist Construction A IV - 1969 von Joost Baljeu wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joost Baljeu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Synth. Constr. Wxi_4C im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 137.500,00.
